A Flower is the first living production stage in Sandustry. It grows when Wet Seed touches a Planter Box and turns the Seed branch into two useful outputs: more Gold and Amethelis for the later Florinol Energy chain.

How Flower works
The official material page describes a Flower as a Vine stem with a head containing four Amethelis and one Gold. Destroying the plant with a weapon or Fire releases those materials. Because the plant is burnable, harvesting with heat must be separated from other plant growth and any nearby uncontrolled production.
How to use Flower in a factory
Give the Flower room to grow above the Planter Box and create a collection area for light, drifting Amethelis as well as dense Gold. The two outputs behave differently, so a single horizontal belt is not always enough. Route Gold to collection and Amethelis toward drying.
Common Flower problems
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Wet Seed remains unchanged | It may not be touching the Planter Box correctly or the growth space is obstructed. |
| Amethelis escapes the collection point | Its Wisp behavior makes it drift while falling; use walls or controlled airflow. |
| The whole crop burns | The harvesting flame is touching adjacent Flowers or other burnable material. |
