Seed is the Kinetic Press output that opens farming and the Amethelis-to-Energy chain. It is not planted dry. A Seed must first touch Water and become Wet Seed before a Planter Box can grow it into a Flower.

This flow identifies the material's immediate inputs and outputs. Follow the linked guides below for the surrounding chain instead of treating this compact route as a complete throughput calculator.
How Seed works
One Seed pixel absorbs one Water pixel to create one Wet Seed. Seeds are denser than Wet Seeds, so mixed piles can separate naturally, but deliberate wetting is easier to control. Seed is launchable, allowing a factory to move the dry input to a contained wetting chamber without carrying Water through the same route.
How to use Seed in a factory
Split Seed from Gold below the Kinetic Press. Store or launch it dry, add Water only at a measured contact point, and deliver Wet Seed to the Planter Box. This protects the press output from flooding and keeps excess Water from spreading back into the Gold collection area.
Common Seed problems
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Seed does not grow | It is still dry; the Planter Box requires Wet Seed. |
| Water floods the press output | Move the wetting chamber farther downstream and transport Seed as a solid first. |
| Wet Seed separates from Seed | Their densities differ; use that behavior or isolate the conversion chamber. |
