How Water works
Water pools until it finds a level surface. The official page notes that droplets which fail to settle within 45 seconds evaporate. Heat turns Water into Steam, while cold can freeze it. Water is blocked by Blocks, Conveyor Belts, Kinetic Presses, and Flux Emanators, but ordinary Filters allow it through; Advanced Filters can actively handle liquids.
How to use Water in a factory
Build a contained reservoir before expanding the line, then meter contact with Sand or Seed. Pumps only collect liquid from their small central pickup area, so sediment inside a Pump can halt the whole network. Keep different liquids on separate pipe systems because connected inputs are distributed across connected vents.
